Local Authorities and Public Services

Across the public sector, we are working together to improve experiences and life chances, particularly for our most vulnerable children and young people. This often relies on building greater collaboration, consistency and shared understanding within and across teams, services and organisations.

At Changing Chances, we work alongside local authorities and wider public services to support the development of neuroinclusive cultures where children, young people and the adults around them can thrive. Through our training, coaching, family support, and system-wide approach, we provide practical tools, strategies and support that strengthen relationships, build workforce capacity, and create sustainable change in the workplace and at home.

Our work is grounded in the idea of empowerment: teaching young people about their brains and giving them the tools to become responsible self-advocates.  We help adults and young people better understand their needs, neurobiology and executive functioning skills. Through practical, everyday approaches that support neuroinclusion and well-being, we strengthen self-awareness, regulation and pro-social skills, building environments where children and young people take action to be at their ‘brain best’.

By building greater understanding, collaboration and consistency across services, our work improves wellbeing, engagement and long-term outcomes.
